Objective:To evaluate the endothelial dysfunction in renal hypertension patients by the high-resolution ultrasound and to explore the relation between Flow-Mediated Dilation (FMD) and the patients' physical condition (the levels of blood pressure, ages, renal function, resting internal diameter of blood vessel).Metheods: Sixty patients were investigated in this study. All patients were divideded into 4 groups: group I, matched healthy ; groupâ…¡, renal hypertension patients without renal insufficiency; groupâ…¢, renal hypertension patients with azotemia ;groupâ…£ , renal hypertension patients with uremia. Every group underwent the ultrasonographic examination of brachial artery diameter in the basic state, reactive hyperaemia and after sublingual glyceryltrinitrate. And the relations between endothelium-depended dilation and the levels of blood pressure, ages, renal function, resting internal diameter of blood vessel in renal hypertension were also observed . Results:There was significant difference of vessel diameter change between group â…  and group â…¡. The endothelium-depended dilation was destroyed significantly in group â…¡ than that in control...
