Objective To observe hs-CRP,sICAM,sVCAM and brachial artery endothelial function in the coronary artery disease (CAD) with different carbohydrate tolerance level,compare the disparation of the groups, analyze the correlation of hs-CRP,sICAM,sVCAM and brachial artery endothelial function,to check if the detection of hs-CRP,sICAM,sVCAM could reflect the endothelial function and could provid a more convenience method to guide the prevention and cure of the patients in the CAD with different carbohydrate tolerance level.Methods The sixty CAD patients of stable angina who confirmed by coronary artery aretriography were selected.By OGTT,the sixty patients were grouped three groups:NGT,IGT and D2M, there are twenty patients in every group.By taking enzyme linked immunosorbent assay to detect hs-CRP and sICAM,sVCAM in the blood serum in the CAD patients wiht different carbohydrate tolerance level,at the same time,by taking high-resolution ultrasound to detect the flow-mediated dilation in the brachial artery (FMD) in the CAD patients with different carbohydrate tolerance level.Results The level of hs-CRP in the NGT group,IGT group and D2M group were respectively 1.03±0.32 mg/L,2.14±0.82 mg/L,3.05±1.56 mg/L,there were statistics significance(P < 0. 05),comparing NGT group and D2M group,there was highly statistics significance(P < 0. 01). The levels of sICAM-1 in the NGT group,IGT group and D2M group were respectively 112.76±32.03 ng/ml,175.37±41.21 ng/ml,234.21±56.14 ng/ml; The levels of sVCAM-1 in the NGT group,IGT group and D2M group were respectively 214.04±92.34 ng/ml,314.56±101.69 ng/ml,485.89±173.24 ng/ml ,there were statistics significance ( P < 0. 05),comparing NGT group and D2M group,there is highly statistics significance(P < 0. 01).The FMD in the NGT group,IGT group and D2M group were respectively 5.87±2.52,4.06±2.02,2.03±0.98,there were statistics significance ( P < 0. 05),comparing NGT group and D2M group ,there was highly statistics significance too(P < 0. 01).Correcting effection of gender,age,smoking,BMI,blood-fat, BP,a more closed relation was found between hs-CRP and endothelial function in the patients(P < 0. 01).Conclusions The endothelial function of CAD patients was decreased with the decrement of carbohydrate tolerance,at the same time,the hs-CRP level was increased ,the hs-CRP level of patients'is significantly correlation with endothelial function.
