Experimental Study On Effective Ingredients And Mechanism Of Huanglianjiedu Decoction

Background:Huanglianjiedu decoction is a sutra recipe of defevering and detoxifying . It is derived from WAITAI Secret Formula,edited by Wang Tao of Tang Dinasty. HLJDT is consisted of four herbs, Rhizoma Coptidis, Radix Scutellariae, Cortex Phellodendri Chinensis, Fructus Gardeniae. It is reported that HLJDT have been applied in pancreas cancer, galactophore cancer,colon cancer,liver cancer and so on. The experiments have detected the ingredients of the HLJDT which absorbed into blood , bolted active components and researched the mechanism of suppressing tumor. All of these were based on the whole suppress-tumor experiment. This reseach also provides supports for clinical application and exploid of HLJDT.Objectives:Study on antitumor effect of Huanglianjiedu Decoction and the antitumor function of active elements in wogonin.Method :1. Method of animal antitumor experiments of Huanglianjiedu DecoctionAnticancer experiment of Kunming mouse: Mice were injectedinto the left axillary hypoderm with 0.2 ml liver cancer H₂₂ -The next day, HLJDT(49.5 g·kg-1, 16.5 g·kg-1 , 5.5 g·kg-1) was taken orally once a day. After 8 days ,compare antitumor function of the medicine, then calculate the inhibition rate.
