The Pharmacodynamics Study On Curing Cholesterol Gallstone By Using Complex TMC Lidanpaishitang

Gallstone is one frequent and multiple disease of digestive system and one of the frequent acute abdomens, whose case fatality rate occupies the first place in cases of surgery. It's an important cause of death in acute abdomen and harmful for people's health seriously. In the present study, we applied complex prescription of traditional Chinese drug, LiDanPaiShiTang, which was composed of christina loosestrife, corium stomachium galli, Japanese climbing fern spore, Talc, pepperweed seed, black sesame, Bupleurum chinense and so on. It has been used effectively in clinic. For further demonstrating its function and mechanism, this article has conducted the correlative pharmacodynamics experimental study.Objective : It is to explore the function and mechanism of LiDanPaiShiTang on treating gallstone and provide the experimental basis for the clinical treatment.Methods: Investigating the maximally tolerated dose (MTD) of the complex prescription; the solution of the gallstone in vitro; the effects of anti-inflammation were observed by the methods of xylene-induced ear inflammation and granuloma swelling induced by cotton ball in mice; to examine the effects of analgesia, body twisting and hot-plate was conducted in mice; observing the influence on blood biochemics, liver and renal functions by analying the blood of mice and rats; collecting the bile of rats to investigate the choleretic effect and the bile flow rate, and determine the bile component.Results : The data indicated that after statistics processing: LiDanPaiShiTang display higher MTD and little side effect; it can dissolve gallstone in vitro; it can effectively inhibit the degree of mice auricle tumefaction induced by xylene and granuloma swelling induced by cotton ball; it shows distinct analgesic effects on mice in writhing test and hot plat test; there is no influence on blood fat in control mice; it can affect blood chemistry, choleretic effect, bile flow rate and bile component in rat. Conclusions: LiDanPaiShiTang has little side effect and much ability including dissolving gallstone in vitro, anti-inflammation, easing pain, choleretic effect, inhibiting the form of gallstone and so on.
