Objective : In this study, dextran sodium sulfate aqueous solution to create experimental animal model of ulcerative colitis. Observation Bupiyichang soup of ulcerative colitis mouse model of the therapeutic effect of changes in serum levels of NO to evaluate its efficacy machine Jimmy.Methods : Mice were divided into : the normal group, model group, Bupiyichang Tang high - and low-dose group and SASP group. With 4% DSS solution free drink prepared with ulcerative colitis model. Drink DSS solution with the first two days for every day fecal occult blood test, diarrhea and bloody stool of the naked eye. Modeling success of the mice were given the drug corresponding 0.5 ml once a day gavage : the normal group and the model group received saline, SASP group of sulfasalazine, Chinese medicine group Bupiyichang soup. The experimental mice by observing the general state of the disease activity index, pathological and histological changes in serum levels of NO, Comprehensive Evaluation Bupiyichang soup on the above indicators.Results : 1.Mouse model developed diarrhea, reducing diet, not shiny hair, and with different degrees of bloody naked eye, huddle, reduction and weight loss. After Bupiyichang soup and SASP treatment of symptomatic improvement in varying degrees, the performance of appetite, Mao weight and gradually, eyes blood will be reduced, sometimes only see loose stool or visible normal stool. 2.Model after model of successful weight loss in mice, DAI index higher Compared with the normal group were significantly different (P<0.01); After treatment the treatment group increased body weight. DAI index lower, with the model group than there was significant difference(P<0.01). 3.Histopathologic examination of the treatment group compared with the model group. There was significant difference (P <0.01or P<0.05). 4. Serum levels of NO in the treatment group compared with the model group, were significantly lower (P <0.01).Conclusion : 1. NO mouse serum levels of increased intestinal inflammation may be the basis for one of the pathophysiology. 2. Bupiyichang Simmer soup UC, with its inherent mechanism may be able to adjust the level of serum NO, inhibit colonic mucosa damage, promote ulcer repair, improve intestinal blood circulation. 3. Hygrothermal UC spleen deficiency is the basic mechanism, Bupiyichang soup can Jianpi Yiqi, Qingre Huashi, LiQi Hexue and UC is the obvious treatment.
