Objective:Some study on Ovisaries L were only components study of acid bile in nation and overseas at present. But there were seldom study on pharmacological base and clinical application of therapeutic action. The components of Ovisaries L contained taurocholic acid (TCA) and aurocholic desoxycholic acid (TDCA). They showed noticeable anti-inflammatory action. In our experiment, we observe the curative effect of Ovisaries L to acute and chronic inflammation in rats and mice by using several experimental study models, and its mechanism of anti-inflammation is discussed. And there was a comparative study between main components of TDCA or TCA and whole bile in anti-inflammatory action. The purpose is to observe if there are other components of anti-inflammatory action.Methods:To observe the curative effect of Ovisaries L and its main components to acute and chronic inflammation in rats and mice by using several experimental study models. A radioimmunoassay method was used to measure the contents of inflammatory mediators (PGE2,IL-6,NO) in high (A group) , mid (B group) and low (D group) dosage group of Ovisaries L, taurocholic acid group(E group), aurocholic desoxycholic acid group(F group) and Combined group of aurocholic desoxycholic acid and taurocholic acid(G group).Results:In our experiments, B group, C group, D group, E group, F group and G group showed markedly inhibiting action to to acute and chronic inflammation, and they could decease the contents of inflammatory mediators (PGE2,IL-6,NO). Compared with that of A group, there was a significant difference (P<0.05,0.01). But there was no significant difference when the B group, C group,D group compared with that of F group and G group.However, the inhibiting action of C group, D group were better than E group, F group and G group.Conclusions:â‘ Ovisaries L showed markedly inhibiting action to to acute and chronic inflammation, and its action was better than TCA, TDCA ang their combined groupâ‘¡the anti-inflammation mechanism of Ovisaries L and its main components shows it has the function anti-inflammation action by inhibit the liberation of inflammatory mediators(PGE2,IL-6,NO)â‘¢TCA and TDCA ont only were the main components of Ovisaries L, but also the main effective components of anti-inflammation actionâ‘£Meanwhile, we found that the anti-inflammation action of Ovisaries L was better than TCA, TDCA and their combination. And our experiments showed that there were other components played a role in anti-inflammation action, or there were some other matter played a role in anti-inflammation action together with TCA and TDCA, the evidence was tested by further scientific study.
