Objective: To explore the anatomical characteristics of theintrapulmonary vessels by observing the cross-sectional images ofChinese digitized visible human and making three-dimensionalreconstruction of the lung and its inner vessels.Materials and methods: A series CVH images (No.460 to N0.701) wereconsecutively observed, and the intrapulmonary vessels were labeled inthese images. At last, the labeled images were inserted into computer tomake three-dimensional reconstruction. Results: The intrapulmonary vessels could be clearly recognized in CVHdataset images. The bronchi distribute centrally; the pulmonary arteriescouple with the bronchi, and the veins go alone; The three-dimensionalmodels perfectly show the brunches of the pulmonary arteries, even thesubsegmental vessels were able to be recognized. Conclusions: The research reconstructed and visualized the intrapulmonary vessels of the first Chinese visible human. The digitalizedvisible model of the intrapulmonary vessels can display the spatialconformation of this region using reconstructed three-dimensional models. It will help in anatomical teaching and provide morphological data forimaging diagnosis and operation of lung.
