Pattern Differentiation And Treatment Of Adverse Reaction After Transcatheter Arterial Chemoembolization For Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the major malignancies in the world.Most HCC are diagnosed at an advanced stage, which lose chance to surgery.Recrudescence rate also is high after a surgical operation, some of them cannotbe surgeried again. Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE) is thefirst choice to therapy the tumor which cannot be surgery. Vomit,pyrexia,bellyache,hypohepatia occurred highly after TACE, which pain patients, evenmake them not bear to be next therapy. There is a significance that thetreatment for adverse reaction after TACE in clinic, which also can alleviatethe patients' pain. Heteropathy is the method to apply adverse reaction afterTACE in Western medicine, But its side reaction is a harassment in clinic.The Chinese medicine can solve this problem. This study will observe the effectof pattern differentiation and treatment of adverse reaction after TACE forhepatocellular carcinoma. It shows the characteristic and advantage of theChinese medicine.Objective:This study was performed to observe the transformation of the index of adverse reaction after TACE, to evaluate the impact of pattern differentiation and treatment of adverse reaction after T ACE for hepatocellular carcinoma. Improve the clinical effect from pattern differentiation and treatment of adverse reaction after TACE.Method:1.100 Patients after TACE for hepatocellular carcinoma from the inpatient department were divided into two groups, each 50: the matched control group which was treated with western basic medicine and the treatment group which was treated with pattern differentiation and treatment as well as western basic medicine. The treatment time was both one week.2. Making measurements of symptoms before and after the treatment. Record the indexs of symptoms of one day before TACE,one day after TACE,three days after TACE, one week after TACE. The data was putted into computer, and statisticed by SPSS13.0, in order to assess the effect of the matched control and treatment groud.Result:The matched control group' s general efficiency rate is 74%,the treatment group' s general efficiency rate is 94%, the treatment group' s symptoms have been obviously impoved, which exists notable statistics sense(P＜0.05). The effect of treatment in vomit,pyrexia,hypohepatia,bellyache of the treatment group has impoved, which exists notable statistics sense(P＜0.01, P＜0.05 and P＜0.05).The result indicates the treatment group have a better effect than the matched control group.Conclusion:Pattern differentiation and treatment and Western medicine of adverse reaction after TACE for hepatocellular carcinoma have a better effect than the single Western medicine in treatment. It also alleviates the symptoms and shortens the continuance time of adverse reaction after TACE, deserves being applied in clinic.
