Clinical Research On Acupuncture In Root And End And Appearance And Substance Of Kidney Meridian Associtated With Language Training For Broca Aphasia Following The Stroke

Objective:To assess language function of patients with Clinical Rehabilitation Research Center A Phasia Examination (CRRCAE) and compare clinical effect of the broca aphasia following the stroke treated by acupuncture in root and end and appearance and substance of kidney meridian associtated with language rehabilitation training and single language rehabilitation training.Then the significance of approaching the theory of root and end and appearance and substance to speech therapy was to be discussed,and a more effective therapy was to be explored so as to provide an objective basis for clinical application.Methods:According to the clinical diagnostic criterion of the cerebrovascular disease passed in the fourth national academic discussion of cerebrovascular disease in1995, CRRCAE was used to assess language function of patients.40patients with broca aphasia following stroke were assigned to either a group named treatment group who received acupuncture in root and end and appearance and substance of kidney meridian in combination with language rehabilitation training or a group named control group who received simple language rehabilitation training. Each group has20cases and based by rule medicine of nerve internal medicine. The course of treatment is4weeks and two groups were given language examination evaluation according to CRRCAE before and after the period of treatment.Results:Both treatment group and control group had significant improvement in each aspect,but the results of listening understanding,rehearsal,speaking,reading,hearing and writing in experimental group were superior to those in control group,the difference is remarkable,P<0.05.Conclusion:(1)Both root and end and appearance and substance with language rehabilitation training and single language rehabilitation training show improvement,but acupuncture in root and end and appearance and substance of kidney meridian in combination with language rehabilitation training seems more effective than the latter,especially in listening understanding,rehearsal, speaking,reading,hearing and writing (2) Attaching the theory of root and end and appearance and substance to speech therapy has positive significance,and the two therapeutics may make up each other to enhance the effect of language rehabilitation.
