The Operative Treatment For 28 Cases Of Acetabular Fractures

Objective: To discuss and perish by reviewing the diagnosis andoperative technique and technology of acetabular fracture.Methods: To select the cases of 28 acetabular fractures suffereroperatived with professor of WuBO from July of 2004 to July of 2006.x-ray, CT or 3D-CT were performed before operation to understandthe classification of fractures and todetermine operative regimen.All cases were fixed by reconstruction plates and screws through thebest incision by Letournel-Classification. Curative outcomes wereassessed by Matta' s Standard.Result: 26 cases were followed up for 6 months to 2 years, withan average of 1.1 years. Clinically, 14 (53.8ï¼…) of fractures wereexcellent, 6(23.1ï¼…) good, 5(19.2ï¼…) fair and 1 (3.8ï¼…) poor. The rateof excellent and goodness was 76.9ï¼…. Complications consisted ofsciatic never injury, necross of the femoral head, heterotopicossification and traumatogenic osteoarthritis.Conclusion: Fresh acetabular fractures should be treatedearly.The key to enhance the curative effect is to verdict the typeof fracture by x-ray, CT or 3D-CT, select the proper incision,anatomical reduction and rigid fixation.
