Objective:The purpose is to evaluate subjective well-being state of medical postgraduates ,furthermore to explore the relationship among personality characteristics,coping Style,subjective well-being and mental health of medical postgraduates so as to provide theoretical evidence for the mental health education of postgraduates.Methods:The 237 three grades medical postgraduates of the Medical College of Shihezi University were investigated with GWB,EPQ,CSQ and SCL-90.All questionnaire were gathered by Shang Hai Hui Cheng software ,then the software SPSS 11.0 statistically analyzes the datas.Results:1.The subjective well-being mean of three grades medical postgraduates was 114.±12.67. Its level was middle ;2. It existed significant negative correlation between neuroticism and GWB total score(p<0.01). It showed that extraversion was a significant positive correlate of GWB total score(p<0.01);3. The coping mode and subjective well-being have no significant difference for medical postgraduate(sp>0.05);4. There existed significant negative correlation between SWB total score and depression as well as SCL-90 total score(p<0.01);5. Somatization , interpersonal sensitivity and hostility were lower than Chinese norm(p<0.05);6. Masculine detection rate of mental problems is 13% for medical postgraduates. Compulsion, Interrelation sensitivity and depression are obvious ;7. Different factors ,such as grade, sex , age, marriage, specialty , work experience ,region of enrolment have no significant difference for medical postgraduates.Conclusion: Step regression analysis revealed that personality factor were significant predictors of subjective well-being of medical postgraduates;Mental health status is one of the influence factors of subjective well-being of medical postgraduates .
