The Correlation Of Chinese Medical Constitution And Inactive Ankylosing Spondylitis Patiens's Function

Objection: To study the relationship of chinese medical constitution and inactive Ankylosing Spondylitis' s function.Methods: Register the patient' s informations such as name age sex length of the course of disease, determine the nature of HLA-B27 and so on. Register symptoms that is based on which is appeared by WangQi in 2005, and then classified the patient' s into different constitution types. Estimate patient' s function and disease' s activity, then statistic by SPSS 12.0.Results: We collected 80 patient' s, the sex proportion of male and female is 3:1, the ratio of positive HLA-B27 is 75％. A negative correlation was found between courese of diseases, age and joint function (P＜0.05). The course of diseases and age have remarkable correlation(P＜0.05). The blood stasis constitution have remarkable effect on patient' s function, it' s BASFI score is 29.91, which is higher than other constitution types, it' s Schober Test (2.57cm), Finger-Ground distance (22.53cm), Occiput-Wall distance (5.94cm) that is lower than other' s constitutions. The Schober Test in females (5.33cm) better than males (3.77cm), which has remarkable difference. BASFI Score (7.74) in Single constitution is lower than double constitution, but chest movement (4.29) is better than double constitution, which have remarkable difference (P＜0.05). A remarkable correlation was found between the cause of diseases and blood stasis or single constitution. The patient' s function have no sinificont correlation with HLA-B27(P＞0.05).Conclusion: The male proportion and positive HLA-B27 ratio are on the low side in inactive AS patients. Because male and negative HLA-B27 patiens illness are not so serious. The reason is relating to male' s and positive HLA-B27 patiens' characteristic. Joint' s function descend with the increase of age or course of diseases. A remarkable was found between constitution and the couse of diseases, the single constitution was tend to double and blood stasis. The joint' s funtion of single constitution patients is better, and the blood stasis patients are graveness. The state of single constitution patient' s is not so serious as blood stasis' s.
