Study On The Characteristics Of Treating Spleen And Gastroenteropathy Syndrom In Sun Wenyuan's Medical Record

The Spleen and Gastroenteropathy syndrome, is one of the morbus internussyndrome, occurring in the oesophagus, the spleen, the stomach, the small intestineand large intestine, which is often caused by invasion of exogenous pathogenm,internal injury by food and drink, failure of emotionm, disorder of zang-and fu-organs.This kind of diseases and syndromes including dysentery, stagnation of moist,stomach-ache, painful abdominal mass, bellyache, vomit, gastric upset, regurgitateand so on, about 15 diseases and syndromes.12 of them are frequently and commondiseases that happen in the clinic. Medical records, refers to the documents ofdiagnoses and treating activities in TCM. They are the important documents for us tostudy the ancient doctor's clinic expericnced today.This thesis studys on the medicalrecords of treating gastroenteropathy syndrome which is written by Sun Yikui, adoctor who is well-known as the representative of Reinforcing Mingmen school, Andis going to analyze and summarize the regularity and characteristic of Sun'sdetermination of treatment when curing gastroenteropathy syndrom.There are about 310 medical records of spleen and gastroenteropathy syndromin Sun Wenyuan's Medical Record. This thesis has selected 29 vomitting records, 20stomach-ache records, 62 abdominal pain records, 67 diarrhea records, 33 dysenteryrecords, 46 constipation records, 5 records of abdominal distension with qi-deficiencyand 2 records of internal injury. By differentiation of symptoms and signs forclassification of syndrome to every medical records of entity, and after the statistics and analysis on the prescription and pharmacon with the EXCEL software, we foundthe conclusion that, Sun have three regularites when he is treatinggastroenteropathy. Firstly, he think higly of differentiation of syndrome, is good atabsorbing the other doctor's clinic experiences and prescribe actively according to thesyndrome. Secondly, differentiating the triple energizer and valueing primordial qi,Sun is careful when he is prescribing in order to avoid impairing primordial qi.Thirdly, Sun is good at treating phlegm syndrome, he also emphasize the importanceof lower energizer and kidney and he often treats the gastroenteropathy byreplenishing spleen and invigorating stomach. After the study, we already have a clearand full cognition about Sun Yikui's regularity of determination of treatment ongastroenteropathy. It helps to deepen and extend our understanding on the academic ofGAS of TCM, but the most importance is, Sun's clinic experiences and theories oftreating gastroenteropathy can be beneficial to the development of modern TCM.
