| Objective: Pathogenesis of temporomandibular disorders(TMD) is very complicated. extracellular matrix(ECM) deterioration is important pathological changes of temporomandibular disorders. matrix metalloproteinase(MMPs) is the foremost stroma deterioration enzyme.It involved in a lot of physiological process and pathologic process.The experiments research temporomandibular joint histologic change and matrix metalloproteinase-3 expressive change by occlude trauma animal models.To discuss temporomandibular Disorders cause of disease and pathogenesis.Methed: To make occlude trauma animal model,the histologic change and distribution of MMP-3 at different stages of the temporomandibular joint condylar cartilage were observed under disseeting microscope 1 and 2 weeks ,1 and 2 months respectively after trauma HE pigmentation or immunohistochemical analyses were adopted to research the occlude trauma influence on the condylar cartilage pathological changes compared with the control group.Result: 1.Compared with normal control group, the histologic change of the condylar cartilage is not obvious in the 1- experimental -group. Fibrous zone transformed thinness, the number of cells has decreased. The proliferative zone and the hypertrophic zone transformed thickness, the number of cells has decreased and the volume of cells has enlargemented, demarcation of layers became unclear,calcified cartilage zone transformed thinness from the 2- experimental–group to the 4- experimental–group.Most demarcation of layers became clear, the number of cells has increased, the fibrous zone transformed thickness,the cells of the proliferative zone proliferate active.2. A small quantity and sporadic distributive of the masculine cells can be found in the fibrous zone of the normal control group.The most of masculine cells stands on the fibrous zone and the proliferative zone in the 1- experimental -group. The masculine cells can be found in the proliferative zone and the hypertrophic zone besides the fibrous zone and the amount of masculine cells has increased in the 2- experimental–group and in the 3- experimental -group. The most of masculine cells stands on the hypertrophic zone and the fibrous zone destroyed cartilage aere, the amount of masculine cells has increased and concentrated in the 4- experimental–group.Distribution of masculine cells stands on the fibrous zone destroyed cartilage aere, the masculine cells cannot be found in the hypertrophic zone and the calcified cartilage zone.Conclusion: 1.Rabbit temporomandibular Disorders model were adopted to research the ideal experimental animal model of the human temporomandibular disorders.2. The occlude trauma may lead to degenerative changes of the condylar cartilage,its degree of changes concerned with trauma factor effect time and strength.3. MMP-3 plays an important role in the condylar cartilage injury and degeneration. |
