[Objective] To investigate whether the plasma thrombin-activatable fibrinolysis inhibitor (TAFI) levels in chronic kidney disease are abnormal, and to evaluate their possible clinical significance.[Methods] 68 patients of chronic kidney disease were divided into there groups, 22 patients of CGN(eGFR>90ml/min/1.73m2), 22 patients of NS, 24 patients of CRF (eGFR<90ml/min/1.73m2), All the patients had no coronary heart disease(CHD), liver diseases, and vasculitis, diabetes, SLE.And no patients had been cured by glucocorticoid, regulating blood fat drugs, anticoagulating drugs. 20 medical examinated health adults were chosen as normal control. ELISA methods were used to measure the plasma TAFI levels and the D-dimer levels. Auto Biochemistry Analyzer used to measure the biochemistry index, Auto Hematology Analyzer blood used to measure the hematology index, Auto Coagulation Analyzer used to measure the coagulation index.[Result] (1)The plasma TAFI levels of CGN patients, NS patients, CRF patients are higher than the normal control(p<0.05).(2)The TAFI levels among CGN patients, NS patients, CRF patients have no significant difference(p>0.05)(.3)The plasma TAFI levels of CGN patients have positive correlation with urine protein/urine creatinine(p<0.05);And with no correlation with other clinical index, blood routine index, biochemistry index, coagulation index and fibrinolysis index(.4)The plasma TAFI levels of CRF patients have nagative correlation with PT(p<0.05);and have nagative correlation AT-â…¢activity(p<0.05);and have nagative correlation with D-dime(rp<0.05);And with no correlation with other clinical index, blood routine index, biochemistry index, coagulation index and fibrinolysis index.(5)The plasma TAFI Ag levels of NS patients have positive correlation with TC(p<0.05); LDL-C(p<0.05);and have nagative correlation AT-â…¢activity(p<0.05);And have no correlation with other clinical index, blood routine index, biochemistry index, coagulation index and fibrinolysis index. Campare the difference of plasma TAFI concentration among the 3 patient groups and the normal control, and to investigate the correlation among plasma TAFI concentration and clinical index, blood routine index, biochemistry index, coagulation index and fibrinolysis index.[Conclusion] The TAFI levels are higher than the normal control, The TAFI levels have correlation with UPr/Cr in CGN patients ,have correlation with PT,AT-â…¢activity,D-dimer levels in CRF patients, and have correlation with TC,LDL-C,AT-â…¢activity in NS patients. So we suppose that it may play a role in the dysfunction of blood coagulation and fibrinolysis in renal diseases.
