The Relationship Between Expression Of Nestin In The Adult Rat Neocortex And Monosialoteterahexosyl Ganglioside After Cerebral Ischemia

Objective:To research the relationship between expression of nestin in the adult rat neocortex and monosialoteterahexosyl ganglioside(GM1)after cerebral schemia.Methods:By using rat permanent middle cerebral ischemia as a model and intraperitoneal injection GM1,immunohistochemical staining was used to observe nestin protein of neocortex.Results:(1)Nestin positive cells in the GM1 group are significantly higher than the control group and the sham operated group;(2)The nestin positive cells of the control group and the GM1 group all reached maximal expression on the seventh day,but no significant difference between the third day and the tenth day in the controls,and the tenth day' s are significantly higher than the third day' s in the GM1 group.Conclusion:The GM1 can promote the expression of nestin in cerebral ischemia.
