Changes Of The D-dimer During Thrombolytic Therapy Of Lower Extremity Deep Venous Thrombosis With Urokinase

Objective:To mensurate the changes in D-dimer and perimeter of suffered limb during thrombolytic therapy with different dosage urokinase in treatment of lower extremity deep venous thrombosis(DVT).Discuss the signification of D-dimer curative effect and judging prognosis of thrombolysis for treating DVT.Methods:50 patients were divided into two groups randomly.One group was treated with urokinase 400,000IU, another with urokinase 200,000IU per day.Latex Agglutination Test was used to detect D-dimer in the plasma in 50 patients with DVT at different time during the thrombolytic treatment by using different dosage urokinase before treatment,2nd day,6^thday,10^thday and 14^thday after the beginning of the treatment.At the same time,the difference of perimeter between the suffered limb and the healthy one was measured.Results:D-dimer levels of two groups increased significantly after thrombolytic treatment.Peak values of D-dimer in two groups appeared on the 2nd day after thrombolytic treatment.D-dimer of two groups decreased at 6^thday after treatment.D-dimer decreased continuously,and there was significant statistical difference when the levels at the 10th day and two weeks after thrombolytic therapy comparing with the levels before thrombolvsis separately in two groups.There was significant statistical difference between the drop of the perimeter difference of both lower limbs in two groups.The drop of the perimeter both lower limbs decreased continuously.But there are no statistical difference between D-dimer and the drop of the perimeter of both lower limbs in the two groups with Urokinase 400,000Iu and Urokinase 200,000IU separately.Conclusion:D-dimer seems to be a significative and important indicator for diagnosising DVT and evaluating curative effect for treating DVT.
