| Objective:To approach the mechanism of action of treating Coronary Heart Disease with Luomaishutong Granule by observing its therapeutic efficacy on carotid artherosclerosis and lipoprotein a. Method:During 60 patients of CHD,30 who have achieved the layer of extreme high risk and high risk of ATPâ…¢and needed to be given strengthening treatment are divided into group A. They are divided randomly into treatment group(15 cases)and control group(15 cases). The treatment group is given Lipitor and Luomaishutong Granule, while the control group is given Lipitor only. 30 patients who have not achieved the standard are divided into group B. They are divided randomly into treatment group(15 cases)and control group(15 cases),too. The treatment group is given Luomaishutong Granule, while the control group is given common treatment only. To observe the changes of carotid artery, lipoprotein a and clinical symptoms before and after treatment. Result : 1. Carotid artherosclerosis and lipoprotein a have a positive correlation with CHD in its invasion and degree. Luomaishutong Granule can lower the IMT, minify the plaque area of arteria carotis communis and lower lipoprotein a; 2. Luomaishutong Granule can regulate blood-fat, relieve inflammatory reaction and lower TIB; 3. Luomaishutong Granule can relieve clinical symptom significantly. Conclusion:Luomaishutong Granule can treat correlation factor and risk factor of CHD, such as carotid artherosclerosis and lipoprotein a. The cure method of"eliminating phlegm by cooling, removing blood stasis and eliminating arthralgia spasm, stopping endogenous wind and deoppilationing collaterals"corresponds to clinical conditions extremely. It has enriched the theory of etiological treatment of TCM with coronary heart disease.
