Objictive: To detecte the chromosomal aberration in the cells of renal cancer lines and renal cancer to evaluate the relationship between the chromosomal aberration and clinical features of renal cancer.Meterials and Methods: M-FISH was used to analyze the chromosomal ploid disposition in the renal cancer lines, and use CGH technique to delect the global genomic aberration in renal cancer tissue cells. Results: 1. To detect the chromosomal aberration by M-FISH in renal cancer lines, the 12 chromosomal ploid disposition was found and 2 chromosomal'long-arm and short-arm lie in ectopia . the rate of chromosomal aberration arrived 56.5%, to show its specific property of biology.2. All of 12 cases detected by CGH showed chromosomal aberrations ( augmentation/deletion ). Each case involved with aberrations of a few chromosomal, from 4 to 18. The average numbers of chromosomal aberration was 11.2. The gains and losses on chromosome has no significant differences .Conclusion: 1. The cytogenetic aberration exists generally in renal kancer cells, chromosomal gains and losses are more common than DNA heterploid in renal cancer cells. The cytogenetic aberration is the base of the initiation and progression of renal cancer.2. There is specific property of biology in renal cancer line, it's specific property is contact with ploid disposition and ectopia of a few chromosome .3. Renal cancer occurring and growth is contact with genomic gains and losses on a few of chromosomes, there has no significant differences between gains and losses.
