The Clinical Study On Patients With Abdominal And Pelvic Tumors By HIFU

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect and safety and the changes of peripheral immune function of patients with Abdominal and pelvic by HIFU.Methods From Oct 2002 to Feb 2005, 100 Patients with Abdominal and Pelvic Tumors were treated With FEP-BY01 pyrotherapier, all target tumors had been treated super high temperature(70oC～100oC).Results Among 100 patients, RE47%,GE42%,NE11%;The quality of life are increased clearly. Among 12 patients,The overall effective rate of pain relief was 91.63%,The complete and marked remission rate 3.8%(1/12)and 66.7%(8/12)respectively;CD4 and CD4/CD8 were increased after HIFU treatment,but all had no significantly difference.No serious skin burn,pain,intestinal perforation and obvious hemorrhage happened during the treatment for all patients.Conclusion HIFU provides an effective and noninvasive therapy,Peripheral cellular immune function could be significantly enhanced.
