Yinqiaosan derived from Wenbing Tiaobian-Medical Treasures of Golden chamber which was written by Jutong Wu. It is composed of Lonicera japonica,Thunb Fosythia suspensa(Thunb) Vahl,Arctium lappa L.,Mentha haplocalyx Briq.,Schizonepeta tenuifolia Briq.,Glycylrrhiza uralensis Fisch,Playcodon grandiflorum (Jacq.)A. DC.,Lophatherum gracile Brongn.,Glycine max (L.) Merr. etc. It is used Primarily in the treatment of coryza which be caused by the deficiency of upper respiratory, can clinically treat cold.A new technology, Supercritical Fluid CO2 Extraction, was also supplied to study the Yinqiaosan. The technological parameter was optimal by Orthogonal design. Total extract of SFE-CO2 were 28.3 times of the essential oil extracted by SDE. The chemical constituents of SFE-CO2 were also analyzed by GC-MS. 42 constituents were identified, and 52 constituents of SDE.Fingerprint is a good technology to elevate the quality of herb medicine. Pharmacological research showed the oil is one of the main fractions. The fraction can be extracted by SDE and SFE, Fingerprint was studied respective, chromatographic parameter was acquired by GC. 28 peaks were assigned common peaks in the spectrum of essential oil, 23 peaks were assigned to common peaks in the spectrum of SFE extract. These common peaks were identified by GC-MS. The method was stable, reliable, well repeated and may offer abundant scientific basis of the quality evaluation of Yinqiaosan.Except that, we have made quantitative analysis palmitic acid in Yinqiaosan. The method determined by the main constituent. it was highly sensitive, well repeated and promisingly reliable.In order to probe into the distributing of the effective composition from Yinqiaosan, we have detected the ingredients in the rat serum which contains chlorogenic acid The result showed that 15 main spectrums were detected in the serum of principles, in which the spectrum at 25.113min was chlorogenic acid in serum. Such research can provide reference for the compositional basis of the Yinqiaosan exploration.Valeriana officinal L. is belongs to the valeriana Linn genus of valerianaceae. The abroad of the plant is used in against neurasthenic cephalea, adjust system circulatorium, antibiosis, spasmolysis and so on. Pharmacological researches have shown that valeriana offieinal L. possesses significant bioactivities. Because of the good biological functions, valeriana offieinal L. is paid great attention to by researchers from home and abroad.In order to find out the active compounds playing the very role, the chemical constituents study was carried out, adopting phytochemistry isolation with molecular biology screening. We have got 4 compounds, which were identified on the basis of spectral data as follows: valerenic acid,β-sitosterol,ursolic acid,4,4',8,8'-tetrahydroxy-3,3'-dimethoxyl-dibenzyl-ditetrahydrofuran and Caryophyllene acide,valerane,Naphthalene,Linoleic acid,ethyl ester,myrtenyl acetate so on by GC-MS. ursoli cacid and 4,4',8,8'-tetrahydroxy-3,3'-dimethoxyl-dibenzyl-ditetrahydrofuran were isolated for the first time from va1eriana officinal L..
