With the rapid development of national economy and the continuous improvement of people's living standards, the incidence and death rate of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases increased year by year, which posed a serious threat to human health and safety. High blood sugar, high blood fat and fatty liver were important risk factors of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, but the impacts and the dangers of them did not arouse people's attention enough, so it seemed to be particularly important that the investigation on high blood sugar, high blood fat and fatty liver and the analysis of risk factors.In this study, Daqing Oilfield enterprise workers were selected as sample, to understand the situation and the relevant risk factors of high blood sugar, high blood fat and fatty liver ,to provide theoretical basis for taking preventive measures and strategies, early detection, early diagnosis, early treatment and improving the physical and mental health of workers in Daqing Oilfield enterprise.The whole data of physical examination for 5023 workers who came from Daqing Oilfield enterprise was collected during the period from March 2006 to February 2007. The relevant information included general condition, blood pressure, blood glucose, blood fat and ultrasound examination. Epidate software was used to set up a data bank, SPSS12.0 software was adopted for data analysis and chi-square test was used as statistic method for comparing rate or constituent ratio. Quality control was applied during the work process.The results showed that the incidences of high blood sugar, high blood fat and fatty liver in Daqing Oilfield enterprise workers were 6.23%, 24.41%, 19.29%, and the prevalence of hypertension was 9.87%. There were significant correlations between age, BMI, blood pressure, gender and the incidences of the three above. With the growth of age, blood pressure rising, increase of BMI, , the incidences of hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia and fatty liver showed upward trend, and those in male were higher than in female, moreover there were significant relationship between high blood sugar, high blood fat and fatty liver.Among relevant factors of high blood sugar, high blood fat and fatty liver, genetic, age, gender factors could not be controlled, while life behavioral factors could be controlled. The prevention of high blood sugar, high blood fat and fatty liver should start at young age. That developing health education and health promotion, correcting unhealthy living habits, balanced diet, reasonable exercise, healthy lifestyle, and enhancing people's physique, could be effective in preventing high blood sugar, high blood fat and fatty liver from occurring, and were of great importance to the health of the people.
