Hepatitis E is recognized as an acute infectious disease spread by the faecal-oral route,and frequently provokes epidemic outbreaks in many developing countries in Asia,Africa,Central America and so on.Many regions in China have reported HEV infection, the prevalence of hepatitis E in the 7% to 15%. Throughout the 25 provinces, five autonomous regions and three municipalities, and the infection rate increased with age, 20-year-old around the peak of infection.The incidence is mainly young adults.The main clinical manifestations of HEV caused jaundice, acute hepatomecrosis.HE is a generally benign process, but the situation serious infection in pregnant women, the mortality rate is as high as 10% to 20%, which is a national pandemic, endangering more serious diseases. HEV is single-chain RNA virus, the more complicated structure of genes, tissue culture research is not yet ripe, so the diagnosis is the major means of RT-PCR using RNA virus, or by indirect ELISA adsorption analysis (ELISA) are used to detect antibodies in the serum. Because of there are a variety of HEV virus genotypes to our research and vaccine development has brought a lot of difficulties.Objective:Jilin is the high incidence area of HE in Changchun area. There are less detailed reports about HEV in the crowd prevalence , we hope that the passage of this experimental study of HEV in Changchun in the crowd epidemiology and molecular epidemiology serum, the situation with a view to the future HEV further study and the prevention lay a good theoretical basis. Method :By ELISA for detection of the anti-serum - HEV antibody, for some serum and stool specimens for HEV RNA detection, and positive PCR products were cloned and sequenced and partial gene sequence analysis.Result:1. Changchun in the age group of a total of 768 anti-human serum - HEV antibody positive rate of 21.88%, the positive rate for males 29.57%, the positive rate for women was 12.28 %, the population under the age of 20 - HEV antibody was 2.00% , the anti-HEV - men and women HEV antibody ratio of 2.41:1. This study in the serum of patients with acute HEV, feces detected three HEV RNA positive sample, sequence analysis showed that the strains between Changchun amino acid homology of 96.8% to 100%, nucleotide homology are84.3% to 93.9%, select different genotypes ORF2 part of nucleotide and Changchun three hepatitis E viruses(Ch-H-s, Ch-H-f-1,and Ch-H-f-2 )conducted a comparative analysis, all of three Changchun hepatitis E viruses are Type IV .Conclusion:We made a research about HEV serum epidemiological investigations and partial gene sequence analysis in a crowd of all ages in the detection of anti-serum 768 - HEV antibody in Changchun of Jilin Province, and the results of HEV antibody positive rate was 21.88% in Changchun, with higher infection rates. Changchun area of different ages and gender groups was the prevalence of HEV serum epidemiological investigation. Experiments show that, M: F = 2.41:1. Changchun area of hepatitis E infection increased with age, particularly in the age of more than 60 year-old crowd to more infections. Changchun three HEV: Ch-Hs, Ch-Hf-1, Ch-Hf-2 gene are type IV.
