A Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Postoperative Residual Syndromes In Protrusion Of Lumbar Intervertebal Disc By "Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Jiawei Decoction"

Objective: To evaluate the curative effect and mechanisms of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu jiawei Decoction for the early treatment of postoperative residual symptoms of lumbar disc herniation. Methods: 72 cases of lumbar disc herniation with postoperative residual symptoms randomized divided to the treatment group of 36,to Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu jiawei Decoction with the exercise of straight-leg raising and the back muscle;and the control group 36 cases, and methylcobalam tablets with the exercise of straight-leg raising and back muscle;treated for 30 days,according to Japan JOA low back pain therapeutic evaluation standards, from the pain,numbness, sensory, muscle strength, walking and daily life to observe obtaining the scores,before and after treatment for 10 days, 20 days and 30 days respectively scores. Statistical Analysis of the data were used t-test and the repeated measurements analysis of variance, the count data used x 2 test or rank sum test,the above were used SPSS12.0 software for the data statistically. Results: 1) the analysis of variance repeated measurements: the treatment group and the control group after 30 days,there was no difference with the significance (P>0.05); 2) the two groups had different points at different time points,a statistically significant difference (P<0.05 ); 3) the efficiency of the two groups test, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05); 4) the treatment group had no significant adverse reactions,the control group one case. Conclusion: HuangQi Guizhi Wuwu jiawei Decoction to the early rehabilitation of postoperative residual symptoms of lumbar disc herniation had a positive role.
