Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of the Modified Bu Yang Huan Wu Decoction in the prevention and treatment of deep vein thrombosis of artificial joint replacement. Methods: 60 cases of patients undergoing total hip replacement or total knee arthroplasty patients were randomly divided into the treated group and the controlled group,Bu yang huan wu Decoction were used in the treated group,and LMWH were used in the the controlled group; the two groups'clinical symptoms,signs,limb Patella 15cm on the upper edge of the tibial tuberosity and 10cm diameter limbs,bleeding tendency,color Doppler ultrasound changes,blood rheology,the changes in platelet count indicators,prothrombin time (PT) and some activated clotting time(APTT) changes in biochemical markers were abserved. Results: eight cases from 60 occurred DVT, the rate is 13.33%(DVT rate of the controlled group:13.33%,DVT rate of the treated group is 13.33 %); Hemorheology indexes two groups of patients before and after treatment before their own whole blood viscosity low-cut,high-cut,plasma viscosity,pressure plot RBC and RBC aggregation index were significantly increased compared the two groups before and after their significant differences (P<0.05),but RBC deformation indicators index decreased significantly, the two groups before and after their more significant difference(P<0.05), before and after treatment with their respective groups before and after the whole blood viscosity low-cut,high-cut,plasma viscosity,RBC pressure plot,RBC aggregation index and RBC deformation index indexes were significantly different(P<0.05);after treatment were compared with blood rheology indicators that whole blood viscosity low-cut, high-cut, RBC pressure plot, RBC aggregation index and RBC deformation index no significant difference(P>0.05),but the plasma viscosity with significant differences (P<0.05);between patients PT APTT Compared with indicators in the two groups before treatment APTT and PT were significantly reduced, compared before and after their APTT and PT indicators There was a significant difference (P<0.05),after treatment groups before and after their respective indexes APTT and PT There was a significant difference (P<0.05);after treatment groups PT indicators showed no significant difference (P>0.05), after treatment were compared APTT indicators There was a significant difference (P<0.05);between patients with limb swelling rate of medication After the two groups before and after treatment with their respective thigh and calf circumference of the more significant differences (P<0.05),after treatment in the two groups thigh, calf circumference of no significant difference (P>0.05),after treatment limb swelling rate in the two groups was not significant different (P>0.05);in the two groups before and after treatment clinical symptoms and signs compared patients treated limb pain, tenderness shares Triangle, Homans sign (+) and the rate of loss compared to the control group there was not significant difference (P>0.05); safety evaluation comparison: platelet count indicators compared preoperative and postoperative three days each in the two groups Platelet count more significant difference (P<0.05),but three days after the administration of platelet counts in the two groups showed no significant difference (P>0.05),preoperative and postoperative six days, nine days each in the two groups platelet count before and after there was no significant difference (P>0.05),after six days, nine days platelet count in the two groups had no significant difference (P>0.05), the next day after two cases incision drainage There was a significant difference ( P<0.05);bleeding tendency's incidence is 21.67%( the rate of the treated group is 13.33%,the rate of the controlled group is 30.00 %). Conclusion: the Modified Bu Yang Huan Wu Decoction has obvious anticoagulant, thrombolytic function,it can improve blood rheology and reduce blood viscosity ,in this way can prevent the formation of deep vein thrombosis, but the effect is not obvious than LMWH .The Modified Bu Yang Huan Wu Decoction can improve limb swelling, limb pain, tenderness shares Triangle, Homans sign (+),and there being no lest significant difference between LMWH and Modified Bu Yang Huan Wu Decoction; The Modified Bu Yang Huan Wu Decoction can significantly reduce the occurrence rate of the lower limb deep venous thrombosis ,and has much better security,without any side effects.
