Objective: To observe the combined effect of Octylphenol and nonylphenol on the reproductive system of male rats and using gegen flavonoids to interve to see the effect. methods: To observe the combined effect of octylphenol and nonylphenol and using the gegen flavonoids to interve to see the effect on the reproductive system of male rats and the oxidative damage to the liver. Collect the gonads and serum of rats to do the refering detection. Results: 1.Prostate,testicular weight: the group of exposure is lower than the control group (p<0.05), the group of joint exposure is lower than the group of single exposure group .(p<0.05) , the exposure group is lower than the intervention group (p<0.05). From Histopathology observation,we can see obvious pathological changes in the testicular. 2.Compare each exposure group and the control group ,the number and the activity of the sperms reduced (P<0.05) , Malformation rate increased(P<0.05);compare the joint exposure group and single exposure group ,the number and activity of the sperms reduced too (P<0.05).Malformation rate increased(P<0.05)The number and activity of sperms in the high dose intervention group are higher than that in the exposure group (P<0.05),the Malformation rate is lower than the exposure group (P<0.05)The T,LH,FSH exposure group are lower than those in the control group (P<0.05),about the indicators of LH,FSH, the high dose joint exposure group is lower than those in the high dose OP exposure group(P<0.05),the exposure group is lower than the intervention group (P<0.05). 4.Activity of the testicular enzyme: there is no statistical difference between the Acid phosphatase groups (P>0.05);the exposure group of the activity ofγ-GT is higher than the control group (P<0.05);the group of high dose joint exposure is higher than OP,NP group (P<0.05); joint exposure group is lower than the high dose exposure group (P<0.05). 5.Waveform protein expression :the exposure group is lower than the control group (P<0.05),the joint exposure group is lower than the single exposure group(P<0.05).NP exposure group is lower than the NP intervention group (P<0.05),joint exposure group is lower than the joint exposure intervention group(P<0.05). 6.Oxidative damage to the liver : Superoxide dismutase , the control group is lower than the exposure groups (P<0.05), showing declining trend ; high dose joint exposure group is lower than the high dose OP,NP exposure groups (P<0.05). MDA, the exposure group is higher than the control group (P<0.05);high dose OP exposure intervention group is higher than the OP exposure group (P<0.05),showing upward trend .Conclusions: 1.The exposure of Octylphenol and nonylphenol can cause certain damage to the Reproductive system and the liver of the male rat , joint exposure make the injury aggravated .2. Gegen flavonoids can play a role of antagonism on octylphenol and nonylphenol.
