Object In recent years Tourette syndrome incidence rates are on the rise, long time to children with Tourette's attack may cause serious stress and fatigue, affecting children with learning and life, and part of children's condition can be extended to adults, and patients with serious impact on employment and social behavior. The disease has been found more than 300 years of history, etiology of the times are changing. At present the medical profession generally considered immune to TS related diseases, and its pathogenesis is a preferred individual genetic susceptibility to external stimulation (mainly infection), after the unusual autoimmune response, a variety of immune substances on the central nervous children System damage process. Cytokine immune cells is an important interaction between the media, but also played an important role in immune response of immune regulation substances, cytokines by immune cells, directly or indirectly, the regulation of the immune response in order to maintain the balance of immune response. However, due to various reasons for this imbalance in immune response, will trigger the formation of the disease. In the immune cells and cytokines in the formation of immune regulation network primarily through TH1/TH2 drift in effect, both are interrelated downturn, mutual inhibition, as a general rule, no one will be dominant immune-related diseases. At present, owing to promote their own cytokines in the immune response play an important role, for the development of immune-related treatment of a certain value, the pathogenesis of autoimmune disease in the study of cytokines occupy a more important position. Through this experiment Tourette syndrome in children and normal healthy children in the serum interleukin-12 and tumor necrosis factor -αconcentrations were measured and compared the health of the patient group and control group, the difference between the concentration to explore cytokines Tourette syndrome in the immunopathogenesis of the role played by, and further discovery of new research direction, and expand clinical diagnosis and treatment ideas, clinical guidance.Method Selected 25 cases of children with clinical cases as a group, are May 2006 to May in What's Jilin University Hospital pediatric clinic for the diagnosis of Tourette syndrome patients, duration 1 to 3 years, in line with China's Mental Disorder Classification and Diagnostic Criteria of Release 3 (CCMD-Ⅲ) on Tourette syndrome diagnostic criteria. Exclude nervous system disorders and other immune-related diseases typical of these boys 21 cases, four cases of girls aged 7-14 years old. All children were not in the blood before the application of related drugs for treatment. All children with Tourette's movement exist, there were 14 cases without vocal tic, there were three cases of male patients with severe clinical symptoms, as demonstrated by the substantial head and upper frequency jitter, combined with a strong voice Tic, can not be controlled by the will, thus seriously affecting the daily lives of children and their families. Choose healthy children over the same period 15 patients as a control group. 10 cases of boys, girls five cases, age 5-10 years old. ABS-ELISA method used in 40 children with serum levels of IL-12 and TNF-αlevels, measured by the results of the statistical analysis.Result Case Group children with healthy control group of children in serum IL-12 and TNF-αlevel difference was significant, the overall application t-test analysis, the patient group IL-12 concentrations in children with a healthy control group children were significantly higher (t = 8.8704, P <0.05), Case Group TNF-αconcentrations in children with a healthy control group children were significantly higher (t '= 7.7519, P <0.05), and application of the rank and test data were analyzed statistically distribution , the two groups of data in case group than in healthy control group were significantly higher, with statistical significance. And in the case group, the children with severe sy mptoms of TNF-αand IL-12 concentrations increased significantly relative. Conclusion These results suggest that IL-12 and TNF-αis involved in Tourette syndrome process, but also may be related to the increased level of the severity of association. Tip children with Tourette syndrome in vivo IL-12 and TNF-αlevels in the test may be used as Tourette syndrome early diagnosis, disease progression, prognosis and treatment of the judge, and other indicators.
