| Objective: To investigate Huo xue qu tong decoction mixed with acupuncture and massage cure the clinical efficacy of lumbar disc herniation. Methods: the 80 patients selected with lumbar disc herniation consistent with the standards were randomly divided into the treatment group (TCD) 40 cases, and the control group (WM group) 40 cases, the treatment group were given Huo xue qu tong decoction with acupuncture and massage, the control group celecoxib tablets with acupuncture and massage. the symptom scores before and after treatment respective. the evaluation of clinical efficacy of the two groups were carried after the two weeks. the efficacy criterion referenced "Chinese disease diagnostic efficacy standards" and the assessment criteria of low back pain (15 points)by Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA). The Result:1) the evaluation after two weeks. the treatment group and control group had no statistics Significance,that is to say,no difference between the two groups 2) after two weeks the main symptoms evaluation: 2 groups of their own compared before and after treatment were x?oved, having a significant difference; 3) 2 group had no significant adverse reactions. Conclusion: Huo xue qu tong decoction with acupuncture and massage for the treatment of lumbar disc herniation had some effects.
