Objective: To study the chemical constituents of Sorbus tianschanica Rupr and quantifiied active ingredients, to expand effect of Sorbus tianschanica Rupr and to establish firm foundament for further developing and utilizing of Sorbus tianschanica Rupr. Method: Extractio to extract the herb with heating racirculation, adopt silica gel column chromatography and gel column chromatography for separation and apply modern analysis method and spectroscopic means such as 1H-NMR,13C-NMR, IR to identify the structure of the componds. Set up HPLC in the determination of amygdalin and hyperoside in Sorbus tianschanica Ruper. Result: Seven monomer componds were isolated from EtOH extraction .They were identified as benzoic acid (Ⅰ), benzvl-O-β-D- glucopyranoside (Ⅱ), ursolic acid (Ⅳ), 2α-hydroxyursolic acid (Ⅴ), hyperoside (Ⅵ), quercetin-3-O- glucopyranoside (Ⅶ). The results of using HPLC in the determination of amygdalin and hyperoside in Sorbus tianschanica Ruper ,have indicated that: amygdalin in Sorbus tianschanica Ruper is 1.56μg/g,the average recovery of amygdalin was 96.6% with RSD of 2.2%. hyperoside in Sorbus tianschanica Ruper is 3.10mg/g,the average recovery of amygdalin was 99.7% with RSD of 2.3%. Conclusion: We study the chemical compositions of Sorbus tianschanica Ruper, The compoundsⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅳ,Ⅴ,Ⅵare discovered in Sorbus tianschanica Ruper for the first time; meanwhile we set up HPLC in the determination of amygdalin and hyperoside in Sorbus tianschanica Ruper for the first time. Besides simplicity and rapidness, the method yields accurate and reproducible results.
