Clinical Study On Yixin Decoction To Improve Quality Of Life Of Post Percutaneous Coronary Intervention Patients

Objective:To evaluate the effect of YiXin Decoction(YXD) on quality of life of post Percutaneous Coronary Intervention patients.Methods:Sixty post Percutaneous Coronary intervention (post-PCI) patients were enrolled and randomly divided into two groups:one of the groups was YXD treatment group(n=30), another was simple Western medicine controlled group (n=30).The treatment group used YXD one time per day and 75mg clopidogr-el, 100mg aspirin,10mg atorvastatin one time per day for three months. The controlled group only used 75mg clopidogrel, 100mg aspirin, 10mg atorvastatin one time per day for three months. If enrolled patients had other diseases, add correspondent drugs. The following index were observed:scores of 36-item Short Form Health Survey(SF-36) and Seattle Angina Questionnaire(SAQ),heart function ,high sensitive creactive protien(Hs-CRP), serum lipid(CHOL, TG, LDL-C,HDL-C).Results:After three months treatment, two groups had effect at SF-36 and SAQ scores, including physical functioning(PF),role physical(RP),bodily pain(BP),general health(GH), vitality(VT), social functioning(SF),role emotion(RE), reported health transition (HT) and physical limitation (PL),anginal stability(AS), anginal frequency(AF) ,treatment satisfaction (TS),disease perception (DP). Their difference had statistical significance(p<0. 05). The YXD group showed better scores of RP,BP,GH,SF, there were statistical difference between two groups (p<0. 05). The scores of PF,VT,RE,HT,PL,AS,AF,TS and DP were no difference between two groups. There were no difference at mental health after three months and between tuo groups (p>0.05). And tuo groups had effects at heart function(EF), Hs-CRP, serum lipid (CHOL,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C) after three months treatment. Their difference had statistical significance(p<0. 05). Lever of LDL-C and TG at YXD group is lower than controlled group, there had statistical difference between tuo groups (p<0.05), and no statistical difference etween tuo groups at heart function,Hs-CRP,CHOL,HDL-C(p>0.05).Conelusions:YXD might be a kind of effective Chinese patent medicine in improving quality of life of post-PCI patients, Especially in improving at role-physical, bodily pain, general health, scial functioning. And then YXD may have effects in improving heart function metabolism serum lipid, lever of Hs-CRP.
