ObjectivesTo evaluate the effect of YiXin Decoction(YXD) on patients with Silent Myocardial Ischemia (SMI).MethodsFifty patients with Silent Myocardial Ischemia (SMI) were enrolled and randomly divided into two groups:one of the groups was YXD treatment group (n=20), anther was simple Western medicine controlled group (n=20). The treatment group used YXD one time per day and 100mg aspirin, 10mg atorvastatin, 6.25mg betaloc one time per day for three months. The controlled group only used 100mg aspirin, 10mg atorvastatin,6.25mg betaloc one time per day for three months. If enrolled patients had other diseases, add correspondent drugs. The following index were observed:Holter, serum lipid (TC. TG. LDL-C. HDL-C), high sensitive creactive protein (Hs-CRP).ResultAfter three months treatment, two groups had effect at the times of SMI attacks, the total time length of SMI, the total load of MI. And the total time length of SMI in the treatment group was lower than the control group (P<0.05);the total load of myocardial ischemia in the treatment group were lower than the control group too (P<0.05). And two groups had effects at serum lipid (TC. TG. LDL-C. HDL-C) after three months treatment. Their difference had statistical significance (P<0.05). Lever of LDL-C and TG at the treatment group is lower than the control group, there had statistical difference between two group (P<0.05), and no statistical difference between two groups at TC,HDL-C. Hs-CRP (P>0.05).ConclusionYXD might be a kind of effective Chinese patent medicine in reducing myocardial ischemic burden of patients with silent myocardial ischemia. And YXD may have effects in improving metabolism serum lipid, lever of Hs-CRP.
