Analysis Of 43 Cases Of Primary Tumor Of The Duodenum

ObjectiveTo study the clinical manifestation and diseased region and pathological type of the primary tumor of the duodenum.Otherwise how to select the examination and treatment,complications after pancreatoduodenectomy were also described in this article.MethodsThe clinical data of 43 cases of the primary tumor of the duodenumduring January,2003 to December,2007 were analyzed retrospectivel.ResultsClinical manifestation was non-specificity,They can be abdominal pain,abdominal distention,jaundice,bowel obstruction or bleeding.The corect diagnostic rate of auxiliary examination were:gastroscopy 69%, CT 72%.The most common location of the tumors(80.8%)was at the second portion of the duodenum.43 cases were all primary malignant tumors of duodenum(PMTD),37 cases were adenocarcinoma,3 cases were stromal tumor,2 cases were carcinoid and 1 case was lymphoma.Among them,31 cases were underwent pancreatoduodenectomy,1 case received segmental duodenectomy, 2 cases were have local tumor resections.3 cases in which the tumors were unresectable were treated by bypass.The resection rate was 79%.19 cases were occurred complications after pancreatoduodenectomyConclusionsEndoscopy and CT are mainstays for the diagnosis of PTD.
