The clinical nursing educators play an important role in the course of clinical nursing education. They not only provide the clinical study source material for the students, but also help the students turn their book knowledge into practice. So the clinical nursing educators'teaching capability affects the quality of nurses pouring into society directly. How to improve the whole quality of the clinical nursing educators is a critical problem that should be resolved immediately.Constructing the indicator system for the evaluation of the clinical nursing educators is the first step of evaluating the clinical nursing educators'teaching capability. The evaluation helps to feedback information to the clinical nursing educators in time, completing communication between teachers and teachers , teachers and students, teachers and governors, and helping the educators to analyze their work efficiency, making improvement in their teaching method and their professional quality.Purpose: Probing the main elements of teaching capability of clinical nursing educators; structuring a set of scientific and systematic evaluation indicator system of clinical nursing educators'teaching capability.Method: Appling for the review study and theory study, probing into the basis and principles of building up the evaluation indicator system of teaching capability of clinical nursing educators; Appling for Delphi method to consult experts on indicator items, weights, intensions, indictors coverage etc. After analyzing dependability of experts'consulting suggestions, set up the indicator system.Result: 1.The questionnaires of the two rounds of consultation were collected 93.3% and 100% . It indicated that the experts, enthusiasm is very high.From the qualitative analysis of experts'basic situations (specialty correlating, age structure ,post and technical title, etc.) and the quantitative analysis of expert'authority (Authority Coefficient of experts were between 0.7500~1.0000,Authority Coefficient of expert group were 0.7955),.The result indicated that the expert group has the good representation, the hierarchical and the authority.2.After collecting and analyzing the two rounds of consultation, it is thus evident that: the coefficient of indicator important extent accredit is between 89.2%~100%, arithmetic mean is between 4.5357~4.9286,coefficient of variation is between 5.3%~12%.The coordinate coefficient of consultation reach or near 0.5,through the Chi-square test p〈0.05,it is significant in statistics. The coefficient of variation is diminish, It indicated that the coordination extent increased gradually, the experts'suggestions of each indictor,s weight was centralized.Conclusion: proposed the necessity of structuring the indicator system of teaching capability of clinical nursing educators; structured a set of scientific and systemic evaluation indicator system of teaching capability of clinical nursing educators.
