Study On A System Of Comprehensive Evaluation On The Medical Quality Of A Hospital

Objective: Medical Quality (MQ) is the comprehensive reflection of the medical technology, the management level and the medical ethics construction. It is the key of the hospital survival and the development. The social public may understand the degree of profits in the medical service; simultaneously the hospital manager may obtain the change rule of the medical quality by the comprehensive evaluation of medical quality. It may provide the basis for the medical service quality control.Method: By literature induction and combining the examination system of medical quality, the comprehensive evaluation system of indicator about medical quality is confirmed. Using the factor analytic method, Rank Sum Ratio method, Topsis method, Synthetic Index method, evaluates synthetically the medical quality of the hospital. Then the results of four kinds of methods are evaluated by combination.Result: Comprehensive evaluation result of the factor analytic method shows: the first is 2007's, the second is 2005's, the third is 2004's, the forth is 2006's, the fifth is 2003's, the sixth is 2002's, the seventh is 2000's, the eighth is 2001's. Comprehensive evaluation result of the RSR method shows: the best are 2006 and 2007, the worst is 2001, and the good are 2002, 2003, 2000, 2005, and 2004. Comprehensive evaluation result of the Topsis method shows: the best is 2005, then 2007, 2004, 2002, 2000, 2006, and the last are 2001, 2003. Comprehensive evaluation result of the synthetic index method shows: the best is 2000, then 2001, 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004, and the last are 2002, 2003. The result of combination evaluation shows: the best is 2007, then 2005, 2004, 2006, 2000, 2002, 2003, and the last is 2001. The comprehensive evaluation's result of the combination evaluation accorded with the actual situation of this hospital in recent years, which manifests the change rule of this hospital in medical quality.Conclusion: If the factor analytic method uses to the comprehensive evaluation of medical quality, it will get the better than the traditional methods at treating these related indexes and defining the indexes'weight. To a hospital's statistics, the different results are worked out by the different methods; adopting combinative evaluation with the different results, the final result is the only and reasonable answer, but objectivity. After the hospital implemented performance management, the doctor's behaviors has been leaded, and medical practices has been established. The performance management conduces to raise the medical qualities.
