Relationship Between Human Parvovirus B19 And Missed Abortion | | Posted on:2009-03-16 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:L N Wu | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2144360245469042 | Subject:Pathology and pathophysiology | | Abstract/Summary: | | | Backgroud and Objective: Missed abortion is one of the most common patho-gestation.The causes of missed abortion are diversify.For the past few years,the study of missed abortion has focused on the relationship between infections and missed abortion and it has got more and more attention to understand the relationship between infection of human parvovirus B19 (HPV B19) and missed abortion.The aim of this study was determining whether there is a relationship between infections of human parvovirus B19 (HPV B19) and missed abortion and understanding the change of cytokine after HPV B19 infection of missed abortion.Methods: Tested tissues from 41cases of missed abortion and 30 normal pregnant women were studied by fluorescent quantitative PCR (FQ-PCR) for HPV B19 DNA ,by HE stain for the change of morphology and by immunohistochemistry for cytokine IL-2, IL-10 and TNF-αin HPV B19 (+) cases and control group.Result: 1.The prevalence of HPV B19 DNA were 51.20 %(21 of 41 cases) and 24.39%(10 of 41 cases)by FQ-PCR in the tissues of missed abortion womens'deciduas and placental villus respectively.The prevalence of HPV B19 DNA were 0 %(0 of 30 cases) and 0.66%(2 of 30 cases)by FQ-PCR in the counterparts of normal gravida. There was a significant difference in them (P<0.01).2. The HE stain shown placental villus dropsied extremely, phlegmonosis cell infiltrated obviously and nuclear inclusion emerged rarely .3. In the HPV B19 (+) cases the IL-2 and TNF-αwere increase comparied with control group (P<0.05).The IL-10 was decrease comparied with control group (P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.The results suggested that the HPV B19 infection might be an important pathogen for missed abortion.2.
