ObjectiveTo investigate the relationship between the expreesion of CD10,CD146 and its clinicopathological characteristics in patients with PHC.MethodsThe selected specimens from 49 patients with PHC and 10 patients with normal liver tissue were first fixed in 10% formalin and routinely embedded in the paraffin, and then continuously sliced into 4um thick sections. Sections were stained by monoclonal antibodies which against CD10,CD146 and HepPar-1 protein by Envision TM immunohistochemistry methods .The relationship between the expression of CD10,CD146,HepPar-1 and its clinicopathological characteristics was evaluated by the x~2(or Fish) test.Results1)The positive rates of CD10 expression in cancerous and paracancerous tissues in patients with PHC were 51.02%(25/49),69.70%(23/33)respectively,while the positive rates of CD10 expression in normal liver tissue were 100%(10/10). The expression level of CD10 in the PHC tissue was clearly lower than in the normal live tissue(P<0.05); The positive rates of CD146 expression in cancerous and paracancerous tissues in patients with PHC were 61.22%(30/49),24.24%(8/33)respectively, while the positive rates of CD146 expression in normal liver tissue were 0%(0/10). The expression level of CD146 in the PHC tissue was markedly higher than in the paracancerous tissues and normal live tissue(P<0.01); The positive rates of HepPar-1 expression in cancerous and paracancerous tissues in patients with PHC were 34.69%(17/49),24.24%(8/33)respectively,while the positive rates of HepPar-1 expression in normal liver tissue were 90%(9/10). The expression level of CD146 in the PHC tissue was markedly lower than in the paracancerous tissues and normal live tissue(P<0.01); 2)Expression of CD10 was associated with AFP(P<0.01),pathologic types(P<0.05) and growing position(P<0.05),has no association with ages, tumor's parameters,B hepatitis virus infection, cirrhosis, tumor's thrombus in the portal vein, tumor's pattern, blood shcsp, insidehepatic metastasis; Expression of CD146 was associated with ages(P<0.05),has no association with tumor's parameters,B hepatitis virus infection, cirrhosis, tumor's thrombus in the portal vein, tumor's pattern, blood shcsp, insidehepatic metastasis, pathologic types, growing position; Expression of HepPar-1 was associated with B hepatitis virus infection(P<0.05),ages(P<0.01)and insidehepatic metastasis(P<0.01),has no association with tumor's parameters, cirrhosis, tumor's thrombus in the portal vein, tumor's pattern, blood shcsp, pathologic types, growing position. Conclusions1)There are close relationship between the expression of CD10,CD146 and HepPar-1 with occurrence, development, biological behavior of PHC.They are all important molecular marker.2)CD10,HepPar-l may be play a important role in the distinguish diagnosis of PHC. 3)In the expression of PHC, there are not clearly relationships between CD10,CD146 and HepPar-1.
