| The incidence of Coronary artery disease has a gradually increased, and it has become a major reason affecting health of human body. The therapeutic measures of coronary artery disease include conservative treatment, interventional therapy and coronary artery bypass surgery. Among these measures, interventional therapy has developed greatly in recent 30 years for its microinvasion and safety. In recent years, results of evidence based medical studies make us more reasonably consider the achievements of coronary interventional therapy (including drug-eluting stent), and development of percutaneous coronary interventional therapy in the passed years would be introduced in the following review and its tendency in future will also be prospected.
