Objective: To evaluate the influence on immunity with cardiopulmonary bypass during beating heart operation.Method: 30 patients with congenital heart disease were randomly divided into two groups. 15 patients were in the beating group, others were in the rested group. Venous blood samples were collected at each time points of preoperation , day 1 ,3 ,7 postoperatively to examine the percentage of CD3~+,CD4~+,CD8~+ ,CD4~+/CD8~+ and the level of IgG, IgM, IgA .Result: There was no significantly difference between two groups preoperatively(P>0.05).Compared with preoperation, the levels of CD3~+,CD4~+ ,CD4~+/CD8~+ and the concentrations of IgA,IgG, IgM decreased at a certain extent postoperatively . CD8~+ increased at some extent postoperatively. The levels of CD3~+,CD4~+ ,CD4~+/CD8~+ and the concentrations of IgA, IgG, IgM in study group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.01orP<0.05) , postoperatively. The levels of plasma CD8~+ in study group was no significantly difference between two groups, postoperatively. (P>0.05)Conclution: The detrimental influence of open heart surgery on beating heart on humoral and cellular immunity function is less than that on rested heart.
