| Fungal immunomodulatory protein (FIP) is a new family of small molecular proteins isolated from medicinal mushrooms in 90s of the last century. FIPs have shown the significant immunomodulatory and antitumor effects so that been proposed to possess therapeutic effects on cancer and autoimmune diseases. In resent years, more and more scientists have used the bioreactor system to provide the medicinal proteins. Generally, plant bioreactors are defined as the expression of high value proteins in transgenic plants, and provide a cheap and safe means to produce therapeuric recombinant proteins on an agricultural scale. In this study, we used the mode plant tobacco as a bioreactor system and constructed FIP gene under the expression vector pBI121 and rd29A promoter. Then, we transformed it into Agrobacterium LBA4404. And we got a great deal transformed tobacco plants at last by using the leaflet explants method. We identified the plants through molecular biological techniques. After transplants, basing on the character of rd29A, we induced the FIP exogenetic protein to express by salt inducement and testified the result by the SDS-PAGE analysis. This paper provided the experimental evidence for studying the expression of the fungal immunomodulatory proteins in tobacco and the basic materials and technology for producing more pharmacy proteins. |
