Objective: To evaluate the ability of Calcium Hydroxide removal using diffrenet irrigation regimens and the effect of the canal seals by remain on the root canal.Methods:200 human singal root canal premolar teeth were prepared. And devided randomly into 2 groups(each group 96 teeth,8 was control),one group filled with chemical Calcium Hydroxide and the other filled with finished product Calcium Hydroxide.7 days after,divided each groups randomly into 6 subsets and remove the Calcium Hydroxide in the root canal :injection syringe and distilled water;injection syringe and 2.5% sodium hypochlorite;injection syringe and 2.5%sodium hypochlorite,17%EDTA; Ultrasonic and distilled water; Ultrasonic and 2.5%sodium hypochlorite;Ultrasonic and 2.5%sodium hypochlorite,17%EDTA.Then each subset group choose randomly 8 teeth, split longitudinally and observed by scanning electron microscope.Other specimens were obturation by lateral condensation of cold gutta-percha with a AH-Plus sealer,stained by Indian ink and then made into transparent teeth model.Results: At the same condition,there was no significant difference between the chemical Calcium Hydroxide groups and the finished product Calcium Hydroxide groups; The result of groups associated with ultrasonics was batter than groups with injection syringe, there was significant difference. The rinse solution EDTA was the best, distilled water was the worse. Dye penetration showed that the longth of dye staining was no significant difference among all guoups.Conclusions: The Calcium Hydroxide removal used with ultrasonics is better than injection syringe; sodium hypochlorite associate EDTA is the best rinse solution to remove the Calcium Hydroxide;But none of the methods and rinse solution can remove all the Calcium Hydroxide.The Calcium Hydroxide remained influence on the root canal sealer is not predominance.
