Objectives: Clinical serum immune function commonly used detection method to observe immunoglobulin and complements for patients with oral cancer undergoing operation ,in the preliminary study on oral cancer surgery in patients with immune system effects. Methods: Peripheral blood was taken from 16 patients with oral cancer before operation and the third day and the tenth day after operation by automatic analysis machine of protein-specific quantitative detecting in immunoglobulin (IgG, IgA, IgM, IgE) and complements (C3 and C4) to compare the concentration in immunoglobulin and complements for patients with oral cancer of different clinical stages, different time period before and after operation .Results:(1) The concentration of immunoglobulin (IgG, IgA, IgM, IgE) and complements (C3 and C4) for patients with oral cancer before operation and the third day and the tenth day after operation between the clinical stage I-II and III-IV was no significant difference (P> 0.05).(2) The concentration of immunoglobulin(IgG, IgA, IgM, IgE) and complements (C3 and C4) for patients with oral cancer before operation and the third day and the tenth day after operation compared no significant difference (P> 0.05). The concentration of IgM of the tenth day after operation was than those of before operation and the third day after operation increased significantly (P <0.05), but between the concentration of IgM of before operation and the third day there was no significant difference (P > 0.05).The concentration of C3 of the third day and the tenth day after operation was than that of before operation increased significantly (P <0.05), but between the concentration of C3 of the third day and the tenth day after operation there was no significant difference (P > 0.05).(3) The concentration of immunoglobulin(IgG, IgA, IgM, IgE) and complements (C3 and C4) for patients with oral cancer before operation and the third day and the tenth day after operation between men and women there was no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion:(1) The concentration of immunoglobulin (IgG, IgA, IgM, IgE) and complements (C3 and C4)for patients with oral cancer in different clinical stages was non-discrimination.(2) The concentration of immunoglobulin (IgG, IgA, IgE) and complement (C3) for patients with oral cancer undergoing operation was non-discrimination, but the concentration of IgM, C3 was short-term increase, suggesting that the patients with oral cance after the radical surgery on the concentration of immunoglobulin and complements in a limited impact.(3) Clinical serum immune function commonly used detection method to observe immunoglobulin and complements for patients with oral cancer undergoing operation is to be studied further.
