Objective To explore the pathological tissue and the clinical diagnostic value of the relationship between bronchus and blood vessel about solitary pulmonary nodule. Methods MSCT routine scans of 8mm collimation and continuous volume targeted scans of 0.75mm and 2.0mm collimation with bone and soft tissue algorithm were performed and reconstructed imaging of MPR, CPR, MIP, MIN-IP, VR and SSD in workstation in 84 patients of SPN with≤3cm diameter. The shape and patterns of the SPN with related bronchus and blood vessel were analyzed and compared with macroscopic and microscopic specimens. Results (1)The relationship between blood vessel and bronchus structure feature can be clearly displayed by MSCT continuous volume targeted scans of 0.75 and 2.0mm collimation with bone and soft tissue algorithm and with all sorts of reconstructed imaging method.(2)80 patients(95.2%)in relationship between SPN and bronchus were demonstrated by MSCT, and 54(64.2%)malignant nodules and 26(31.0%)benign nodules; 4 patients(4.8%)in relationship between SPN and bronchus were not demonstrated, and 2(2.4%)malignant nodules and 2(2.4%)benign nodules.there are statistically significant difference(P<0.05).(3)84 patients(100.0%)in relationship between SPN and blood vessel were demonstrated by MSCT, and56(66.7%)malignant nodules and 28(33.3%)benign nodule, there are statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion MSCT continuous volume lamellar targeted scan and dynamic state scan with all sorts of imaging reconstruction with MPR,MIP,SSD,MinIP,and VR can clearly show the relationship and grouping type between the SPN and bronchus and blood vessel, the relationship is valuable in the diagnosis of the nature of SPN.
