OBJECTIVE: Thrombolytic, anticoagulant and anti-PLT therapy are the classic non-surgical means to treat this disease. There are 42 cases with non-surgical therapy in the past half year in our department, and we have got good effect with the therapies. We discuss the clinical effect of our non-surgical therapies according to the changes of the patients' clinical manifestations. And also we approach the causes, the selection of therapies and the prognosis of the DVT.METHODS: Analyze the individual conditions of the course of disease, clinical manifestations, complications and the Doppler ultrasound, and induct what therapies we had gave to the 42 patients. After a 10- day treatment, we assessment and evaluate the treat effect according to the changes of the patients' clinical manifestations. We calculate the number and ratio of the patients with different effects, and then we analyz the data with SPSS 13.0.RESULTS: There are 11 cases whose courses are all in 3 days, and 3 patients of them get basically cured, 7 with excellent effect, 1 obviously improved. And there are 16 cases with the course between 3 to 10 days. 1 of them get basically cured, and 12 with excellent effect, 2 get improved. 16 cases whose courses are beyond 10 days also get 1 patient basically cured, with 7 get excellent effect and 1 get improved. By use of statistic analysis, we get the result that the therapeutic efficacy is concerned with the disease-course. In all 42 cases, the total cure rate is about 11.9%, the excellence rate is about 61.9% and the improvement rate is about 26.3%. The total effective rate is 100%.so we find that the total effective rate is perfectly high but the cure rate is very low. There is no PTE and no obviously hemorrhage happened to our 42 cases during the course of our treatment.CONCLUSION: There is a high effective rate but low cure rate when we use non-surgical therapy; the earlier patients get adapted therapy, the better they will recover with thrombolytic therapy; It is still effective when we give thrombolytic therapy to those who has missed the best period for thrombolysis; patients in chronic period can get some improvement when we give them anticoagulant and anti-PLT therapy.
