Objective:To observe the therapeutic efficacy on the impact of shoulder pain in patients with hemiplegia by warm needling therapy combined with rehabilitation training.To look for a kind of more effective acupuncture method.Methods:40 patients were randomly divided into two groups,treatment group and control group.There were 20 patients in each group.Patients in the control group were treated by the routine function training methods,while those in the treatment group treated by Warmed-needling Therapy Combined with Rehabilitation Training.All patients were assessed before and after training period.The evaluating items included:(1) Visual analogue scales(VAS) index scales for the shoulder pain;(2) Range measuring scales measurement for the range of should motion; (3)Fugl-Meyer measurement for the motor function of upper limbs;(4) Barthel index scales for ability of daily life.Results:(1)There is a significant improvement(P<0.01) of shoulder pain,the range of should motion,the motor function of upper limbs,ability of daily life both in the treatment group and the control group before and after training period.(2)There is a significant difference(P<0.05 or P<0.01) of shoulder pain,posture the range of should motion,the motor function of upper limbs,ability of daily life between the treatment group and the control group after treatment.(3)Negative correlation between shoulder pain and the motor function of upper limbs (P<0.05),significant negative correlation between shoulder pain and ability of daily life (P<0.01),significant relationships were found and the motor function of upper limbs and ability of daily life(P<0.01).Conclusion:(1)The routine method of functional training and the method combined with motion,the motor function of upper limbs,ability of daily life.But the latter is better than the former.(2)There were significant relationships among shoulder pain,the motor function of upper limbs and ability of daily life of the stroke patients.It indicated that the shoulder pain relief is benefit to the motor function and ability of daily life of stroke paitients.
