Observation Of The Effect Of Dredging The Xuan Fu On Treatment Of Chronic Uveitis

Objective: To observe the effect of dredging the xuan fu on treatment of chronic uveitis, which can provide another thinking for the clinical treatment of this kind of diseases and offer some help for the guidance of clinical medication. Methods: The method of self-control was adopted. The prescription of kang yan ming mu tang together with shi chang pu to the patients, on the basis of differentiating sub-syndromes, different means of dredging the xuan fu and Chinese medicines combining with hormonal therapy were applied. The variations of visual acuity (VA), the signs of ocular region and between pre-therapy and post-treatment were compared. Results: 1. The rate of total clinical effectiveness amounts to 94.34% in treatment group; 2. The VA after treatment is significantly increased (P<0.05); 3. The symptoms of KP, aqueous opacity, vitreous, fundus are slighter than pre-treatment (P<0.05). Conclusions: A good therapeutic effect of dredging the xuan fu on the treatment of chronic uveitis can be obtained.
