Sdudies On The Chemical Constituents And Antioxidant Activity Of Bidens Biternata

Bidens biternata is a weed of the compositae family.It has clearing away heat and toxic material(QingReJieDu),dissipating blood stasis and pr-omoting the subsidence of swelling(SanYuXiaoZhong) effects.Sdudies of th-e biological show that Bidens biternata has antioxidant activity,antiinf-lammatory activity,antileukemia activity,cardiovascular activity and it has composite chemical constituents.Flavonoids polyacetylenes lignaniods and organic acids is the main constituents.Pharmacological sdudy show tha-t the few constituents has better antioxidant activity.Howerer the studi-es on the chemical contituents and biological acitivities have not been reported before.In order to find it′s antioxidant constituents and the ba-se of further sdudy,we isolated it′s contituents.After repeating silica g-el,reversed phase silica gel column chromatography,night compounds were o-btained,and on the basis of chemical and spectral analysis,the structure-s of six compounds were identified.The six compounds are maritimetin(Ⅰ),quercetin(Ⅱ), Z-6-O-(6″-propionyl-β-D-glucopyranosyl)-6,7,3′,4′-tetrahydro-xyauron(Ⅲ),4-O-(2″-O-acetyl-6″-P-coumaroyl-β-D-glucopyranosyl)-P-couma-ric acid(Ⅳ),triacontanoic acid(Ⅴ),stigmasterol(Ⅵ).CompoundⅢand Compo-undⅤare first isolated from this genus,compoundⅠ,Ⅱ,ⅣandⅥare firs-t isolated from Bidens biternata.
