Expression And Significance Of Matrix Mrtalloproteinase-9 And CD147 In Endometrial Carcinoma

Objective To investigate the expressions of matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9) and extracelluar matrix metalloproteinase(CD147) in endometrial carcinoma and its relationship between their expressions and clinical pathological charactors.Methods A reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) was used to detect the expressive levals of MMP-9mRNA and CD147mRNA in 40 endometrial carcinoma and 12 normal endometrial tissues, and the relationship between the expressions of MMP-9mRNA and CD147mRNA in endometrial carcinoma and some factors relating to clinical pathology of endometrial carcinoma such as clinical phases , histological grade , myometrial invasion and lymph node metastasis.Results 1.The expressive levals of MMP-9mRNA in normal endometrial tissues (0.21±0.16) were lower than those of endometrial carcinoma (1.29±0.23) ,the difference has absolute significance (P<0.05) . In endometrial carcinoma ,the expressive levals of MMP-9mRNA were correspondingly higher with clinical phases , histological grade , myometrial invasion and lymph node metastasis (P<0.05) .2. The expressive levals of CD147mRNA in endometrial carcinoma (1.03±0.28)were higher than those of normal endometrial tissues(0.37±0.14), the difference has absolute significance(P<0.05). In endometrial carcinoma , the expressive levals of CD147mRNA were correspondingly higher with clinical phases , histological grade and lymph node metastasis (P<0.05), but no association was observed with myometrial invasion (P>0.05) .3. The expressive levals of CD147mRNA were higher than those of MMP-9mRNA in endometrial carcinoma, and there was a positive correlation between the expressive levals of MMP-9 and CD147 in endometrial carcinoma(P<0.01) .Conclusion Overexpressions of MMP-9 and CD147 may have an important role on the development of endometrial carcinoma ,and their synergistic effectiveness is an important factor to the aggressiveness and invasion of endometrial carcinoma.
