Expression Of E-selectin In Tissue And Serum Of Patients With Colorectal Carcinoma And Hepatic Metastasis And Its Clinical Significance

Colorectal cancer is one of the popular malignant tumors in our country.A large number of statistical data indicates that the rates of incidence and mortality of the disease in our country have been going up in recent years.Hepatic metastasis caused severe and fatal effect on patients that underwent radical resecsion for large intestine primary cancer.Early forecast and diagnosis of liver metastasis is the key to improving survival rate for large intestine cancer patients.We detected the serum level of sE-selectin and expression of E-selectin with ELISA and immunohistochemistry,and investigated its clinical significance in clinical diagnosis,effect evaluation and prognosis judgment.【Objective】To study the clinical significance of the serum level of soluble E-selectin(sE-selectin) and the tissue expression of E-selectin of colorectal carcinoma in clinical diagnosis,effect evaluation and prognosis judgment.【Methods】The serum level of sE-selectin was measured by ELISA in patients with colorectal cancer and normal control.The expression of E-selectin was detected with immunohistochemistry in colorectal carcinoma tissue and normal colorectal tissue.The change of serum sE-selectin level was analyzed preoperatively and postoperatively,and the positive ratio of sE-selectin was compared with that of CEA,CA199 and CA242 in patients with colorectal cancer.【Results】The serum sE-selectin level in colorectal cancer was significantly higher than that of normal control.They were difference in difference Dukes' stage.There was statistically significant difference between the patients with and without hematogenous metastasis.The positive ratio of sE-selectin was significantly higher than that of CEA, CA199and CA242 in patients with colorectal cancer.The positive expression of E-selectin was observed in colorectal carcinoma tissue,and was correlated with Dukes stage.There was statistical difference in five-year survival rate and survival time between positive cases and negative cases.【Conclusion】sE-selectin can be regarded as a valuable diagnostic marker of colorectal cancer,especially with hematogenous metastasis,Dynamic measurement has crucial significance in prognosis and recrudesce judgment.E-selectin may be regarded as a important marker in prognosis judgment.
