Objective To investigate the function of Interleukin-8 on the survival of autologous pearl fat transplantation with different concentrations. Methods Interleukin-8 of different concentrations(A group 100ng/ml,B group 200ng/ml,C group 400ng/ml,D group 800ng/ml) was used in pearl auto-fat transplantation in experimental groups. And 0.9%NS was used in the control group. After 40 days graft weights were measured and histologic evaluation was performed. In addition, Microvessels densities were quantitatively researched in various groups. The growth course of vessels was observed. Results Histologic analysis demonstrated significantly less cyst and vacuoles formation in the experimental groups B,C,D than that in control group. Microvessels can be observed clearly. The Microvessels densities in these groups were higher than that in control group. No significant differences were found in the groups with regard to graft weight. Conclusions Interleukin-8 can effectually accelerate the growth of blood vessels in autologous pearl fat graft and obtain less cyst formation indicating improved quality of the injected fat. And this function may be relative with the concentration of IL-8.
