Animal Gastrointestinal Drug Absorption Characteristics Study Based On RCC

In recent years, with technological development, the field of drug research emergence many new technologies which can reduce a lot of study on the costs and risks. RCC (Remote Controlled Rapsule) is a typical one. RCC is a new method to realize non-invasive drug delivery to the selected sites of human and animal digestive tract.At present, as a useful technology, RCC has been used by a large number of foreign pharmaceutical companies. But in china the research of RCC is in the initiative phase.My work group take the lead in developing human drug absorption studies under the support of hi-tech research and development program of china"Development of micro-systems for the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases"(2002AA404190)and"Development of site-specific delivery capsule system"(2004AA404012). Using this system, I carried out this paper, the animals simulation of human drug absorption (animals simulation human drug absorption, animals simulation HDA) studies.In this paper, the main contents and results include:â‘ Research and perfect a method of positioning the RCC in animal digestive tract. The method can accurately quickly and low-cost realize the positioning of the RCC in animal digestive tract.â‘¡Successfully carried out study on the metformin hydrochloride's local absorbed situation in the Beagle digestive tract (stomach, small intestine, colon). The content of the study, including the design of pilot programmes, the establishment of drug concentration in plasma by HPLC method, the calculation and analysis of the pharmacokinetic parameters. Based on the analysis of the experimental results, the metformin hydrochloride's local absorbed situation in the Beagle digestive tract was found.â‘¢Have set up a drug local absorption study animal test operational procedures. The standard operational procedures provides a reference for the animal simulation HDA research. It's a good foundation for more animal simulation HAD researches in the future.This research content is the preliminary work, The animal simulation HDA studies must be developed farther. We will continue to carry out research in this area, promote the development of China's pharmaceutical industry.
